I took in my first VCU Rams game last night (11/28/2012) it was everything you want in a college basketball game. The arena was small so it felt like you were right on top of the action. I was able to feel the impact of the game more. The band was upbeat and loud and the fans were boisterous , which made the perfect atmosphere for college basketball. The Rams beat University of Stetson 92-56 in an exhibition of VCU demonstrating a more athletic team that were far superior to there competition.
I thought it was a great venue for college basketball and I would recommend anyone visiting the Richmond area during basketball season to check out a game while their in the area. www.jameslecroyphoto.com
