VCU Rams

I took in my first VCU Rams game last night (11/28/2012) it was everything you want in a college basketball game. The arena was small so it felt like you were right on top of the action. I was able to feel the impact of the game more. The band was upbeat and loud and the fans were boisterous , which made the perfect atmosphere for college basketball.

The Rams beat University of Stetson 92-56 in an exhibition of VCU demonstrating a more athletic team that were far superior to there competition.

I thought it was a great venue for college basketball and I would recommend anyone visiting the Richmond area during basketball season to check out a game while their in the area. www.jameslecroyphoto.com

Oracle-One

Today's game between the Gamecock's of South Carolina and Tennessee had its usual thrill with energy and a rush like no other stadium can give you. This was my second visit to Williams Bryce Stadium to see the Gamecocks, the first time I went was two years ago , and ironically enough they were playing Tennessee. The Gamecocks won big that day and today was just as exciting. But today was  also a sad day dispite a Gamecock thrilling win. Marcus Lattimore broke his right leg ,it looked like a total break , which could  end his career . The injury was so My thoughts and prayers will continue to go out to Marcus Lattimore,a I hope he can recover from this devasting injury.

Conner Shaw was down after seeing his star running back laying helplessly on the field in terrible pain. His eyes started to water looking at Lattimore in this condition. However, the team bounce back and played with alot of fire and intensity. Shaw threw for 356 yards, which was a career high and he passed for 3 touchdowns and ran for another. South Carolina is now 7-2 and broke a 2 game losing streak.
Spurrier gave Lattimore the game ball , and he told him that he and the team loved him. Prior to the game today , Lattimore was already dealing with a deep thigh briuse that limited him to 48 yards in two games versus the LSU Tigers and Florida Gators. Lattimore was going to carry the load today , after the doctor cleared him to play and Lattimore said he felt 100%
Tennesse showed alot of class coming on the field to offer their support of Lattimore after he suffered this horrible injury.
